Who is responsible

Requests you send us
When you request a quote or send a message, we receive what you type into the form: your name, phone number, email address (if given) and your message. A quote request also carries what you need (a new lift, a maintenance contract, a repair or modernisation), the type of building or lift and the number of floors and, if you give them, the make of your current lift, whether you are already our customer and whether you are asking as an owner, the building committee, a contractor or an engineer. We use it to answer you and to prepare an offer. It is stored in the database of this website, which Hostinger hosts for us, and a copy of each request and message is emailed to our company mailbox. We keep it as long as we need it to handle your request and for our own records. We do not sell it and we do not pass it on, except to the providers who host this website and our email.
Data collected automatically
Like every website, ours is delivered by servers that keep technical logs: your IP address, the time, the page requested and your browser type. Vercel hosts the pages you see and Hostinger hosts the content system behind them. These logs are used to run the site and keep it secure.
Cookies and local storage
Two entries are strictly necessary and stay in your browser only: theme, your light or dark choice, and consent, your answer to the cookie notice. They are never sent to a server.
Only if you accept in the cookie notice do we use Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages are read. Google then sets the cookies _ga and _ga_…, kept for up to two years. IP addresses are shortened by Google Analytics; the data may be processed on Google servers outside your country. Nothing is sent to Google before you accept, and you can withdraw at any time with "Cookie settings" in the footer.
Map
The map on the contact page comes from Google Maps and is loaded only when you press "Show map". Google then receives your IP address.
Videos
Videos from YouTube or Vimeo load only when you press play. The video service then receives your IP address and may store data in your browser. YouTube videos play in its privacy-enhanced mode.
Links to other services
The WhatsApp, Facebook and Instagram buttons take you to those services; what they collect is governed by their own policies.
Fonts
The fonts are served from this website itself; no request is made to Google Fonts.
Your rights
You can ask us what we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, or object to its use. Write to us through the channels on the Company Details page.
Changes
We update this page when the website changes. The date at the top shows the current version.
